Two killed in Sunshine Coast hinterland plane crash

Two men have died in a plane crash in Queensland's Sunshine Coast hinterland.

A search was launched when the men failed to arrive at Maroochydore airport as expected about 5.30pm on Wednesday.

Police said the plane crashed in bushland along Commissioners Flat Road in Peachester and was discovered about 8.30pm.
