RACQ issues warning as congestion plagues Bruce Hwy

The RACQ has urged Bruce Hwy motorists to remain patient over long delays caused by heavy congestion between the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane.

Congestion in the southbound lanes still stretches 35km from Elimbah to Nerangba in Brisbane's north, with motorists facing delays of more than half an hour. "Traffic is moving very slowly on the #BruceHwy between Bells Creek on the Sunshine Coast and Elimbah, north of Caboolture. Be prepared for lengthy delays #PackYourPatience," RACQ tweeted.
